Creating Multiple Thumbnail Images in Photoshop Step 2

To create a Batch Job is quite simple if you have completed Steps 1. If not don't stress you can find it here Creating Multiple Thumbnail Images in Photoshop Step 1

Now that we have our Action save we can continue to create the Batch Job

Select File > Automate > Batch the Batch dialog box will appear.

Select your saved action from the Action drop-down menu in the dialog box. As you can see below i have selected my thumbnails action.

From the Source drop-down, select Folder. Click the Choose button and select the folder that contains the images you want to resize.

You will notice that, by default, the Destination drop-down is set to None. If you keep this setting, the thumbnails that are created will be saved into the folder that you specified in your action. If you want to save your thumbnails to a different folder, select Folder from the Destinationdrop-down and click on the Choose button to pick a folder. Photoshop will provide additional options for naming your files.

Click OK to run the Batch command. Photoshop will apply the thumbnail action to each file in the source folder. When it's done, youll find a collection of nice new thumbnails in the destination folder.
